Launching 6 ft Rockets In Slow Motion
In this episode of The Slow Mo Guys, Gav and Dan head to Purdue University in Indiana to launch some seriously awesome 6 ft tall rockets.
Not only do they get to launch these heavy duty rockets, but they also filmed the launches in slow motion for us to enjoy.
So as Dan prepares to press the launch button, Gav prepares to film the event at 28,000 frames per second (fps) with the Phantom V2511 camera and at 1000 fps with the Phantom Flex 4k camera.
The first launch went so well, they decide to do a second launch where they record the event from much closer and at a lower exposure so that you can see the sparks and fire better.
The result of both launches is nothing short of beautiful and provided us with many great pieces of excellent video footage.
