Making paint from Skittles candy. It is hard to imagine life inside of a prison when you have not been there to see it for yourself.

It is a whole other world with its own currency, rules, customs and traditions. When you are denied everyday conveniences you have to learn to be resourceful.

Chris Wilson did time at San Quentin prison during the 1990's, when he was in his 30's. During this time he learned that he had a talent for making art, using Skittles candy to make the paint. While exploring this new talent, he learned a lot more about himself.

This is a very interesting short film documenting his discovery of freedom within the walls of a prison.
