Watching Batteries Explode In Slow Motion

Today I have yet another one of those "don't try this at home" videos from The Slow Mo Guys. 

This time Gav and Dan have decided to ignore the warnings on the back of the battery packages and catch the mayhem in slow motion. 

Dan, as always, is the lucky one to get to hold the blow torch that heats several different styles of batteries until they explode. 

All the while, Gav is filming the action from a safe distance with a Phantom v2511 camera at 28,500 fps and 70,000 fps. 

Luckily they weren't blown to bits, so they can continue to bring us more slow mo insanity in the future.
